The Athiti Niwas of Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Guwahati is situated at Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama Charitable Dispensary, 2nd Floor, K C Road, Chatribari, Guwahati – 781001. It is 2 kms away from Ashrama. The Guest House can accommodate very few people. The Guest House is not for commercial purpose. It is only reserved for devotees, admirers and well wishers of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission and its affiliate bodies who support Ramakrishna Order’s activities.

Expectations from our honoured guests:

As we wish you a memorable visit and pleasant stay in Guwahati Ashrama, we request your cooperation in observing the following:

Check-in

Please produce your Voter ID/ Aadhar Card/ Passport in original along with self attested photocopy upon arrival and enter particulars in the Guest Register. The check-in time is always 12.00 noon. The In-Charge Swamiji would like to meet you and your members at his convenient time on the day of arrival and the penultimate day of your stay.

An inventory of articles for use in the rooms is available in each room. The Guests are requested to check these items at the time of occupying the room. The responsibility of any missing item, thereafter, rest with the guests. They shall be liable to pay charges for any loss and damage caused during their stay.

Time Restrictions:

Prior approval is necessary in case any of the guests need to go out of the campus before 6.00 am or return after 8.00 pm.

Important Contact Numbers:

The guests are requested to limit their requirements within the existing arrangement. In case of any difficulty, Guest House supervisors may be contacted.

Departure:

Check-out time is 12.00 noon. Please hand over the keys of your room before 12.00 noon on the day of departure to the Guest House In-Charge Swamiji. The time extension will be given subject to room availability.

Donation:

It is observed that devotees of Sri Sri Thakur are always eager to do their most while content with the least. Most of them want to get an indication regarding guest house charges so as to enable them to make appropriate donations. Guwahati being a holy place and also the connecting point of seven states of north east India, everything is expensive including water. Though Ashrama Authorities are unwilling to fix any charge, just for the convenience of devotees we would like to mention that the expenses for Guest House accommodation come to about Rs. 400/- per day per head for Non-AC and Rs. 800/- per day per head for AC rooms.

Guests Belongings:

Ashrama authorities owe no responsibility for any loss/ damage of the guest’s belongings. Please ensure your valuables are well protected.
Gambling, smoking and liquor consumption in any form or unlawful behaviour is strictly prohibited inside the rooms and elsewhere, and person(s) under the alcoholic influence are not allowed inside the Ashrama premises.
Please maintain the cleanliness and serenity of Ashrama and Guest House premises. Knightly and half pantaloons are not allowed outside the room.
We cannot accommodate any service quarter for driver and attendant.

Note:

1. Maximum 3 days stay is allowed.
2. All the guest rooms are situated on the second floor of the building.
3. All the rules and regulations of the Ashrama are to be adhered to strictly during your stay at the Ashrama.
4. On-arrival or on-spot booking will not be entertained. Devotees with prior approvals are given the guest rooms.
